Terms of service

Last updated 22 October 2026

1. Who we are

ZeroToBuilders (the “Service”), at zerotobuilders.com, is owned and operated by XPO8 Limited (“XPO8”, “we”, “us”), a company incorporated in Hong Kong, of 1603, L. Plaza, 367–375 Queen’s Road Central, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong. These Terms are a contract between you and XPO8. You can contact us at contact@zerotobuilders.com.

2. Accepting these Terms

You accept these Terms when you create an account, pay for a membership, apply for a club partnership or otherwise use ZeroToBuilders. The member rules you confirm before entering the workspace form part of these Terms. Our privacy page explains how we handle personal data. If you do not agree, do not use ZeroToBuilders.

3. Who can join

ZeroToBuilders is for approved university entrepreneurship, startup and builder clubs and chapters. New members must use a valid approved club joining link. Anyone holding that link can sign up, without university-email verification or individual committee approval. A missing, invalid or paused link cannot start a new membership.

You must be able to enter into a binding contract. If you accept these Terms for a university club, you confirm you are authorised to act for it. You may not use ZeroToBuilders if we previously closed your account for breaking these Terms, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

4. What ZeroToBuilders provides

ZeroToBuilders provides a private building environment for each university club: club channels, project rooms, private messages, a shared launch roadmap, accountability, feedback, qualification review, available partner discounts and an evolving pixel character. Members can use the building environment while working toward their business connections. Club projects and company revenue are visible to fellow members of that same club through authorized Entregraph reports.

The roadmap, feedback and community discussion are general guidance, not legal, financial, tax or other professional advice. You choose what to build and you are responsible for your company. We may change, add or remove features.

5. Membership and payment

New membership costs US$50 once per person. Each teammate buys an individual membership before teaming up; three teammates make three separate US$50 purchases, totaling US$150. There is no group checkout or transferable team seat and no monthly membership fee. Existing purchases and pending checkouts keep their recorded prices and payment identities. We do not reprice a historical purchase or charge again solely because the programme changed. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see full card details. The initial qualification window starts from the member’s original membership activation.

6. No refunds

All membership payments are final and non-refundable. We do not give refunds for unused time, for leaving, for missing a launch deadline, for losing your membership under these Terms, or for changes to features or partner offers. This does not remove any rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

7. Initial 100-day qualification and alumni access

Within the first 100 days from original membership activation, each member must submit a real, live indie product or business for ZeroToBuilders manual review. The business must have Stripe, traffic analytics and an active company social-media account connected through Entregraph. There is no minimum revenue, visitor or follower count. A roadmap checkbox, arbitrary URL or provider source name alone does not establish qualification. Teammates may submit the same business, subject to review of each member.

A submission made on time keeps member access while our team reviews it, including after day 100. Approval gives lifetime alumni access to the member’s club, with no future launch, payment or continued business-performance requirement. Members who fail qualification lose member access through ZeroToBuilders enforcement. We preserve accounts and historical records. Club leaders cannot approve or waive qualification, remove members or reinstate failed membership. A joining link or another payment cannot bypass suspension. Missing historical evidence alone does not automatically qualify or fail an existing account.

8. Your account

Keep your sign-in details secure and do not share your account. Each account is for one person. You are responsible for activity on your account, and you should tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it. Your full name and location are visible to fellow members of your own club. Your email address stays private.

9. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post, including messages, files, project details and roadmap answers. You give XPO8 a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display and share that content as needed to run, secure and improve ZeroToBuilders. The licence lasts while your content is on the Service, and afterwards only as needed for our records. Content you post in club channels is visible to fellow members of that club; private messages and project rooms remain subject to their participant permissions. You confirm you have the rights to everything you post.

10. Acceptable use

Do not:

11. Reports and moderation

You can report messages that break these Terms. Our team can review reports, remove content, archive projects and suspend or end memberships. Questions about a decision can be sent to contact@zerotobuilders.com.

12. Partner offers and third-party services

Partner discounts and credits are provided by third parties under their own terms. Partners may change or withdraw their offers, and we do not guarantee any offer or its value. Entregraph, Stripe, Google sign-in and other connected services are governed by their own terms.

13. University clubs

Existing clubs may affiliate, and applicants may establish ZeroToBuilders university chapters. Both receive the same benefits after platform approval, including a club portal, joining link, leader dashboard, building environment, roadmap, partner discounts and support for hackathons and events. Sponsorship is negotiated separately with each club, with no fixed payout or events quota. Leaders can see their club’s member names, joining dates, signup/payment and access statuses. Joining discloses company and revenue visibility to fellow members of the same club. Dashboard access alone does not grant builder membership or access to private roadmap answers, private messages, provider credentials or card details.

14. Characters and XP

Characters, levels and XP have no monetary value and cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged. We may change how they work.

15. Our intellectual property and feedback

ZeroToBuilders, its brand, roadmap, characters and software belong to XPO8 or its licensors. While you are a member, you may use them only to take part in ZeroToBuilders. Do not republish the roadmap or other member-only material. If you send us suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.

16. Leaving and suspension

You can stop using ZeroToBuilders at any time. To close your account, email contact@zerotobuilders.com. Closing your account does not entitle you to a refund. We may suspend or end your membership if you fail the initial qualification, break these Terms or the law, or create risk for other members or for us.

17. Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, ZeroToBuilders is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that you will launch a company, make sales or earn revenue, that feedback or roadmap guidance is accurate or suitable for your company, or that other members will act as expected. Nothing in these Terms affects rights you have by law that cannot be excluded.

18. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law, including under the Control of Exemption Clauses Ordinance (Cap. 71). Otherwise, XPO8 is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data. Our total liability to you for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid XPO8 in the 12 months before the claim arose and US$100. If you use ZeroToBuilders as a consumer, these limits apply only as far as the law of the country where you live allows.

19. Indemnity

You will compensate XPO8 for third-party claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your content or your breach of these Terms or the law, except to the extent caused by XPO8. If you are a consumer, this applies only as far as the law allows.

20. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as outages of hosting, payment or other providers, natural disasters or government action.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. For material changes, we will give at least 15 days’ notice by email or in the Service before they take effect, unless a change is needed sooner for legal or security reasons. If you do not agree, stop using ZeroToBuilders before the change takes effect. Continuing to use it afterwards means you accept the updated Terms.

22. Governing law and disputes

These Terms and any dispute about them or the Service are governed by the law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Before starting proceedings, contact us at contact@zerotobuilders.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve the matter in good faith. The courts of Hong Kong have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of mandatory laws in the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts where that law allows.

23. General

These Terms and the documents they refer to are the entire agreement between you and XPO8 about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not waived it. We may transfer our rights and obligations to a successor or affiliate; you may not transfer yours without our written consent. No one other than you and XPO8 has rights under these Terms, and the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap. 623) does not apply. We send notices by email or in the Service. If these Terms are translated, the English version prevails.
